| The Distillers – Dismantle Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |

i think this song is about missing your chance with someone. "I fancy you, but i've been destitute" meaning she really liked someone, but was 'destitute' as in devoid, lacking the courage to do anything "And all I know dissolved I could never reundo you" - now its too late, the chance is gone "dissolved", but she cannot forget about the person "I want to bury you" - she just wants to forget the person. repetition- showing that its very hard and for the rest i have no idea haha |

| isn't this song about missing your chance with someone and regretting it later? i don't usually listen to pop punk but this song rocks. | |

this song is amazing. i hate the video though. i can't believe practically no one has commented on this song. anyways, i think this song is about a girl, thinking about a guy that she had a relationship with. the relationship probably went sour and changed her "now i've grown so much colder" thus she will "never look back". she is still in love with him, but slowly letting go. |

matt said that this song was about being away from friends and family whilst on tour. but then i get really confused because the lyrics suggest that the song was written about getting over a lover.. "You don't want me anyway you don't want me anyway. So why, why should I stay? " and "I can't feel the same about you anymore" |
