Dr. Dog – Station Lyrics 15 years ago
This is Toby's account of how it feels to be touring so much. They tour such a huge chunk of the year that it obviously gets to them and their family (Toby has a wife who I guess is the one with the look upon her face in the song).

Dr. Dog – It Lyrics 15 years ago
It always amazes me how such a simple tune and lyrics can be so amazing. Scott seems to like opposites too as I feel like he's used them in other songs as well. I am very glad I got the deluxe edition for this song.

I know I can't be the only one that hears the intro to Disney's Robin Hood at the end.

Dr. Dog – Unbearable Why Lyrics 15 years ago
This might be my favorite on the new album. I'm trying to figure out the "unbearable why" part. Is it asking why something is unbearable? Or is the why itself unbearable? Hopefully Scott will shed some light on it at some point like he did for Rabbit because I would have never figured it out.

Dr. Dog – Shadow People Lyrics 16 years ago
According to Scott, he says it's mainly about West Philly (Baltimore being a road in Philly, and the Second Mile being a thrift store in a seedy part of the city). He wrote this song about how places in Philly have started to change for the worse, but is still a great place for artists. "I wanted to write something about the people and places around me."

Manchester Orchestra – The Only One Lyrics 17 years ago
Oh my. Hull's voice in this is just so ridiculously good....especially at the start. This album is going to be 100% incredible.

Dr. Dog – The Rabbit, the Bat, and the Reindeer Lyrics 17 years ago
Scott said at a concert I went to that this was "an exercise in hating someone". It's a song about hating someone. He said it probably doesn't sound like a hate song because he doesn't actually hate anyone, which is why it's an "exercise".

Kevin Devine – Trouble Lyrics 19 years ago
pretty much seems to me that he's saying you can't escape trouble no matter what you do until you are 6 feet under.

Great song by the way.
