I'm liking what LackofColor is saying. Yeah if you actually think about it, it's pretty simple. The girl leaves and her sheets get so old that they grow grass. Her back was aligned to shun him for some reason, while he s in the friend-zone and longs for a romantic relationship; burying friendship that is old and loyal in the yard to breed a stronger feeling. She is innocent. Where she leaves to, she meets a boy who glues tinsel to her crwon; falsely glorifies her and is lipless through lack of love and everytime he kisses her, she constantly grow even more bitter because her metal; self-will, is soft and penetrable. She s a vulnerable girl far away from her best friend who is in love with her and is losing innocence that he has admired for years with out telling her. |

The dirt in your fries.. I think that means that they live in a town that is too small and they are too dumb to refine; move out to bigger and better places. They have a small town deli that they eat at everyday during their oh so routine life and only when they get old and bony do they realize the dirt in the fries they thought were so familiar. He likes it this way; he likes living a simple life and never having to worry about change, but he does, and he holds curses and tries hard to keep them in, so the girl he loves doesn't want to move out anymore, because she does, and he wants her to leave him so that he may be a pet to his town again; a normal boring townsperson with no worries for other places. He's reluctant to talk to her because she makes him feel unaccomplished in life. She wouldn't accept him as he is, an eyesore; brimming with potential but hesitant to use it, and he hides in his tree like a wounded bird who tried to fly and got shot down.
All the bakers at dawn will always be bakers, always cut themselves as they cut buns, always always on the same schedule; no change takes place ever in this town.
Dawn is the most exciting thing that happens; the most unpredictable colors that can bring the only change.
