| This song is nothing short of enchanting, one of those very rare songs that are able to convey an image of a location or a period solely on the basis of air and melody, off the top of my head I can only think of Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and Clannad's Harry's Game. It's incredible to think that a song like this was only included as a Bside. Took an age to learn this on the guitar but these days its the first tune I play every time I pick it up. Had a tape of a gig a couple of years ago where he breaks into a song called if you love me. Guy was a legend. Robbed we were. | |
