Thank you very much. Judging from the comments following mine, I thought everyone found it naïve. I don't dig for deeper meanings in songs; I generally go by the feeling the song gives off. When I originally wrote the comment, there wasn't a video, but even after I watched it, I stuck to my first impressions of the song. :> |

"arms cannot consent" should be "arms cannot contend" "enough the love" -> "another love" "my lungs" -> "my veins" "this touch a sin" -> "is such a sin" Everything else seems to be good though. :> |

I think it's about a girl daydreaming. It's been raining for days and she's bored, so her mind starts to wander. Making her morning coffee/tea, she dazes off, only to be snapped into reality with a cloud of steam to her face. "And she fights for her life as she puts on her coat And she fights for her life on the train" refers to an action sequence in her daydreams "Nobody knows" no one knows she's off in her own world while they're living out of the mundane. She's playing a "winter melody" on her cello when she hears someone at the gate.. "Perhaps a letter with a dove Perhaps a stranger she could love." |

I'm absolutely in love with this song. It's perpetually on repeat. However, I thought the video was atrocious! Everything seemed so thrown together and irrelevant to the song. |

| This song is hilarious. While I may be another "I'm, like, totally, like, in the, like same situation" (albeit I'm not fourteen) I can't help but laugh at this song comedic sounding approach to an older man dating an underage girl. | |

Hmm, to me, this song is describing The Jungle Book. I know that sounds a bit obvious because of the jungle/tigers part, but hear me out. XD; "you've seen this kid before he sits fists clenched" "when the truth has been realized" Seems to be talking about Mowgli when he's told that he has to go back to the village with his people, "when he looks inward he sees disgust disgust for a jungle that is alive a hand-me down false hope is hard to swallow" Describes when he finally realizes that the jungle that has been his home for so many years is "abandoning" him... "so what now adapt and fit in to this system no, no, learn the language of this tribe walk among them and in time" Pretty self-explanatory.. Just a guess, I'm probably wrong, but most of this artist's songs are literary references, so I thought I'd give it a shot. :3 |

I'm thinking that this song is about a couple that had a bad break- up and they see each other at a party with disastrous results. She's surprised to see that he's done a complete 360 in character and he's bitter, trying to make her jealous with his new-found confidence..etc. etc. XD; A shot in the dark. This song is near impossible to decode. |
