| This is such a powerful song to me because, on March 25 2006 a good friend a year younger then me, commited suicide. I'm in the Volunteer Fire Dept. and I went on the call, it was for a "hanging under a train tressel". When I got there and reconized him I couldn't belive it. I've never felt more sad, and useless in my entire life. They played this song at his funeral, and I bit my lip so hard it bleed, but I still cryed. I never stop thinking that if I just could have been there to try and talk him out of it, like the guy in the song. But it wasn't to be, Johnny I know your in a better place, your no longer in pain and you've got your freedom. Rest In Peace John Markewitz, 1988 - 2006. | |
