I've got a crazy theory on this, because i dont think the song is that great... The song is making fun of all the emo music that has recently become popular. The overly done depression and verly basic lyrics are all stabs at emo music which is often characterized by those things. Using poor grammar (most lonliest day) is basically calling the emo groups unintelligent. "I"m glad that I survived" and "I wanna die with you" are speaking of emo groups talking about suicide way too much. |

I agree with kmk_natasha that "kill your rock n' roll" is the change from SoaD's older albums to this one. A similar situation is found in slipknot's Duality, where the line "i cant promise you'll enjoy the noise" tells of the different direction that Vol 3 went in compared to their other albums. |
