i listen to this CD alot... and at first i thought hott sex, duh, but then i thought... yea murder, but then i thought to myself... hey self..... what about this?........stay with me....... This guy has this friend that hes like totally in love with but she doesnt feel the same way. So! he takes her in his car to the ocean or somewhere like that and he rapes here.... and then he says "if you can keep a secret" which says to me that hes like 'shut up or i'll kill you'..... and maybe he does and maybe he doesnt.
i think the like "...and watched her dissappear.." isnt about her being dumped to the ocean, its about losing a part of herself...
anothere thing is that Midnight showings of like movies n stuff are usually horror flicks.... id say being raped would be quite a horror... so maybe thats the "midnight show" |

this song coule mean pretty much anything, no one really knows..... but to me... it seems like there is this person who so obviously wants to be with this Andy person and is just like obsessed with him, and when the unknown person sees Andy with some girl, he gets all depressed and i think he gets mad at Andy and takes it out on him or possibly even her "HEY SHUT UP" so this unknown person pours their heart out to Andy and gets nuthing for it............ i could be wrong... i prolly am, but thats what i got out of it.... plus its a killer song, and i got a friend named Andy that is a major football stud and thats really ironic.... haha.... poor kid |

actually, i STRONGLY believe that this song is about the wiccan handshake which is done when you "SHAKE THOSE HANDS" and extend your index finger to their pulse point on their wrist... in which that time for an instant u can sorta implant a thought. and so it sounds to me like she wants to shake this guy's hand so she can tell him inadvertantly that she wants him and that maybe he wants her too..... |
