| Pink Floyd – Comfortably Numb Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I don't see why people think this puts a positive spin on drug use. "Comfortably Numb" is the feeling he got from taking heroine for such long periods of time he lost touch with true conciousness. Its a bad thing in the song. It basically describes how hes replaced his dreams and ambitions with drugs. If you watch the wall, you understand the lyricism better. | |
| Sean Paul – We Be Burnin' Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Scarp, you are a moron. You know how much weed it takes to die? About 1500x how much it takes to get high. No one has ever died from ODing on Mary Jane, nor has anyone gotten lung cancer from it (cheech and chong are the only people that could conceivably happen to, and they're fine). So yes, more people in one day from car accidents that people have died EVER from smoking weed. Good call though. Who are you to decide what will "corrupt" this nation? I'd say that either you make everything that can be conceivably dangerous to your health illegal (say goodbye to all the republican supported tobacco syndicates), or make it legal. If drugs were legal, violence would DECREASE. Imagine an America without drug-related violence, without street wars over who gets to sell crack in which neighborhoods. So basically your a stupid conservative who repeats the big words his parents say. Keep on tokin' stoners, and have a good 420. |

| Texas Is The Reason – Back and to the Left Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This is def a Kennedy reference, although I'm sure it's just a irrelevant song title to go along with the band's name, which in turn was based on the Kennedy Assassination. It's like how poppy albums these days have a bunch of song names that relate to the title (Infestation, Papa Roach, etc.). But TiTR is definetly one of the best. Like it or not they pioneered the "emo" genre, before it was assosciated with shitty acoustic pop bands that sung about girls. If you like these guys, hit some Sunny Day Real Estate, and the contemporary band, Appleseed Cast. | |
| Fall River – at least you bought her flowers Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Fall River is the shit. This song is about an abusive and unhappy marriage, as the wife feels hopeless to escape her internal pain and torment. | |
| Fear Before – Fashion Tips Baby Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is, as is the case with many FBTMOF songs, enigmatic in lyrics, with incredibly deep symbolism. Not only are the lyrics incredible, the chainsaw-like intro followed by the classic screetching guitar rhythms are a great example of the unorthodox and brilliant musical style Fear before the March is known for. | |
| Fear Before – Go Wash Your Mouth...I Don't Know Where It's Been Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This is definately one of FBTMOF's best. The lyrics seem to point to this guy having dreams about a girl who he obviously can't have. Alot of talk about sitting up at night. "Close my eyes and pretend she is you" Today I prayed my plane would crash. You'd here the news And think of me as much as I thought of you. |
