i love this song because it means so much to me one of my friends sung it in a beauty pageant. She died about a year later and everytiime i hear this song it reminds me of her. It doesnt make me sad it just makes me remember her and what a talented musician and great person she was. |

I am a fan of Skynard because im a true southern girl. But this remake in my opinion is better than the original. They do such an awesome job rearranging it and making the meaning more clear. I like the way they took this fast rock song and turned into a wonderful acoustic song and it still sounds GREAT! Shinedown is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I think that this song is talking about how hard it is to be an artist and to write lyrics that your fans want. People want to hear about tim's misery and he has to go through all the pain again when he writes and everytime he plays the song. I think that this is an awesome song. |
