Imagine, John Lennon, although admitting the Song Imagine does have some strong Ideals in following with that Of Communism, not only was he not communist himself, he (As in "Himself") had said this song was written about peace. I myself am not Communistic, but can see the Good it can do, and can also distinguish between that and the Ideals in argubly one of the Greatest Written songs of all Time. It is truly pathetic to see so many people Jump on and Yell Communist because of the Peace found in a simple song. Perhaps look beyond your stupidity and see, this Man, regardless of his Personal being, had merely written a song about something better than we have. -Roman- |

Primarily, this would have to be, like so many before me have said, the most overated song I have ever listened too. That however does not mean it is Bad. To all those whom are calling this song the Greatestsong of all time, really do need to get out some more. The song, is not merely lyrically frustrating, but technically as well. Its does not sound that Great, it dosnt break the mold (And im speaking through its Time) It has nothing truly new to add Technically. On the Lyrics side, it just plain dosnt make any sense. It is rather strange, and the Words seem rather Sporadic, registering nothing but complete nonsense. As for the Satanic Messages, its hard to believe satan gave Jimmy a Hand, Rather easier to believe drugs and stupidity where truly helping. Listening to that section reveals alot, Perhaps the theory about Heaven and Hell is correct, Just where does this fit into the Song. Regardless, This song truly does not pass mustard, being both technically and lyrically Pointless, I must vote against it. -Roman- |

I Prefer to think this song is about the mistakes "They" made when they where young, and what the concesquences of their actions are, obviously with religious bearing in this case. These problems seem to mainly revolve around their lives with Women, and to me this song is actuly quite sad, as everybody makes mistakes, and its the big ones that are the hardest to deal with. -Roman |
