I feel like this song is about someone who is all about one time hookups or very short term relationships... sleeping around, dating around. This person gets caught up in the physical aspect of relationships to get attention and the people he/she trust and give it all to, leave in the end. This person wants more commitment and more of a relationship, wants to finally love someone, wants to finally trust someone, and have someone see them for who they are, more than just a hookup.
