This song starts with a child being rejected by his father (maybe the father is teasing him). Then it progresses into a slow and melodic piece like in a traditional folk dance.

Sourberville, that is the most typical conservative christian response I have heard.
He is mocking the "religious" love, by saying "Fear is the heart of love." Basic theology that traditional religion teaches "Love God by fearing him"...he doesn't want that love. |

I'm curious who "They traded their vows" is refering too. If "they" means the mother who was previously being refered to in Second person "you"...then it is no wonder this song is confusing. That's why I am leaded to believe(based off of lyrics) that 'They' should have been refering to a daughter being married. I love his lyrics and it would be sad if he made such a foul 'speaker' error; As to make the actual meaning unfound in the lyrics. |
