i think delial has the most amazing outlook on this song that i've ever heard. no one's been able to explain the emotions behind the lyrics so well. i'm speechless, it almost brought tears to my eyes. seriously. this was the first Stars song i ever heard, also. my roommate used to play it all the time, and she would have it on repeat while we went to sleep. the beat is so soothing. after a while, i looked up the lyrics for it and put this song on every mix i made for about 4 months. about 3 months ago, i was in a music store, just browsing through cds and not expecting to find anything. i came across "set yourself on fire," and i hadn't heard any of the songs off of that cd, but i immediately bought it and popped it in my best friends cd player. it didn't get ejected for weeks. but that CD is not nearly as amazing as this one song. |
