| This is a really good song, if you forget the first 2 lines of the verse... I just read "Man's Search for meaning" and when hes in Auschwitz he was surprised to find that he didn't yearn for sex, that other things were far more important. eye opening book. anyways the song is still really good and its awesome to see some lyrics that are really interesting and he really took a chance on it. oh, and i think its Treblinka, no H, but i dont have the cd so i dont know, doesnt really matter. | |

I think the song is from the bands point of view and that the "you" in the song is either God or fans of Mae. | I think it makes the most sense for it to be about some guy he sees in the city, because personally I've never really seen many spiders in the city, but that could just be SF. As for some ideas of it being a gay guy or about middle easterners, i've never found Weezers lyrics to be very political, and i really doubt he would be freaked out by a gay guy... | |
