im looking for a nice way to say "i'm out." i want out. I always thought of these lyrics as refering to wanting to break up with a girlfriend, but after reading some of the posts about suicide it could be saying that he wants out of this world. This, to me, would change the meaning of the entire rest of the song. |

| i think this song is just saying that if you are soul searching and trying to figure out who you are that instead of just assuming that the people who conform to society are wrong and you dont want to be like them you should slow down and just be what makes you happy and if that is conforming then there is nothing wrong with that | |

| I havent read the entire topic so someone may have already said it but i didnt want to read 18 pages over if it was god or gun to find out, but here is my take on the "loaded god complex". as others have said a god complex is arogently thinking that you are powerful. so i would take a loaded god complex as her thinking she is powerful over him and being right that she actuly is powerful. i take cock it and pull it is what you do before you shoot a gun so i think it is telling her that he wants her to have power over him if thats what it takes to be with her. anyway thats just my two cents. | |
