i see this song as two people who used to date, especially in these lines: whenever I breathe out, you're breathing it in whenever I speak out, you're speaking out if he was breathing out, and she was breathing in, they would be killing each other because they are sharing the same breath. you need oxygen to live and breathing someone's exhale is CO2. also, both people are speaking out at the same time, meaning that they never communicate with each other. i think that the positive negative thing shows how the two people in the relationship are complete opposites of each other. |
