To me this song is interpretted completely different then what anyone has said. first he is bored and has an odd cloud hanging over his head. Coulds don't come at birth. He then thinks of this girl. Lonely like him. He says persist. Lets meet and make a mess. He pictures her face. He knows her face. His finds something special in his old memories. Something that proves that love is between them still. A peculiar love He says a cloud hangs over and that he's in distress. Somebody damaged him and his friends all try to help. But she is the only one who can help, he knows in his heart. He calls out to her. He already knows her name. Even her name is perfect. And hers is the only one he likes the sound of. He tells her to wait(listen). There's something in his mind. Something that shines a light(something you would want to aim for), something that burns(something he has passion for). It is in her memory. Its so good, it can only be "fate or something better". And this memory is the proof that they belong together.
