This is probably my favourite off the new album. And I think I have really bad hearing because a few of these lyrics sound incorrect to me. The odd thing is is that after I listened to this song I also watched Cold Mountain for the first time; and they fit together really well, it's almost erie! This song is so beautiful but so sad.. :( :) |

I think most people here have this song right. Indigo Boy... where'd u read that? I didn't pay much attention to this song at first... but like most songs I hear (and eventually love), I have to listen to them a few times. The lyrics are beautiful and all, but the best part of the song I think, is when she's mournfully yelling/moaning. I can't be the only one who's wanted to just yell when you found out someone important in your life has died. Sometimes words just won't do it. Kinda reminds of some ancient culture I read about where they would all wail at the persons funeral. I'd just gotten this CD when a guy friend of mine commited suicide (at 15)... fit my mood perfectly. Thanks Arcade Fire ;_; |
