| Arcade Fire – Black Wave/Bad Vibrations Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Stop now before it's too late Been eating in the ghetto on a hundred dollar plate Nothing lasts forever, that's the way its going to be There's a great black wave in the middle of the sea I have many different opinions about this portion of the song, but overall it feels like a statement of growing up. Arcade Fire is from Montreal and the "ghetto" is actually a portion of Montreal called the McGill Ghetto, basically their campustown. Thus, it seems like Win is leaving the college life and trying out the real world. The line about the ghetto just hit me the most. Man Monteal is an amazing city. |

I thought this quote was different Hear you listening To the silence Coming closer Now further away I think it should be Hear you listening To the SIRENS Coming closer Now further away Beautiful song nonetheless. I love David Gray and his voice. The only person that comes close is Damien Rice and I love him on his own terms. |

| I know what you mean Ghostlight...I used to play this for my girl because it was exactly how I felt about her. But now that she left me for someone else, I feel kinda odd about the music we used to cherish together. Good song, but very bittersweet. | |
| Nickel Creek – Somebody More Like You Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song really hits me hard. Considering I'm going through a break up right now, I know exactly the feelings. In a situation when you're really not the person who messed it up, you first feel like its your fault, "I didn't hear you say you're sorry the fault must be mine." Then you go back and start to analyze those old words, "You said you'd love me always truly I must have changed cause you don't need me like you used to." Then you look back on the entire thing and just feel bad all around, "You came out of nowhere and made me smile then tore me in two saying we're very different people so dear." | |
