| 50 Cent – Wanksta Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I say eminem and 50 cent wouldn't know a proper lyric if it crawled up their arses and brought them to orgasm through prostate stimulation. here's a grammatical curiosity from 50 cent's 'wanksta' :"We in the club doin' the same old two step, Gorilla Unit cuz, they say we bugged out Cuz we don't go nowhere without toast". well, good luck finding the subject on that sentence! And what the bloody hell does it mean 'we don't go nowhere with out toast' ? Now you listen to me mr cent. If you wanna make in this business LAY OFF THE DUBIE!.......STEWIE FOR GOVERNOR! -Stewie Griffin |

| 50 Cent – If I Can't Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
people, 50 cent was shot only 3 times as proved by an x-ray. he says he was shot 9 times for self-promotion. 9 because tupac was shot a total 9 times in 2 shootings and died. In the big ego world of gangsta rap, thats normal. |
|
| Metallica – Last Caress (Misfits cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| all i can say is...metallica knows how to cover songs | |
| Metallica – Master of Puppets Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
look again TheKorean2908. see how many of those comments are praising and how many are paying them out. and the real story is in record sales. Metallica has sold twice as many albums as green day. |

| Britney Spears – I'm a Slave for You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| PS: remember when an out of tune sound was given what it deserved? | |
| Britney Spears – I'm a Slave for You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
@EmpressAtoZ: i'm not sure she's ahead, considering that she's married to a freeloader, is incapable of looking after her kids and is hooked on fast food. @Consecrated: britney would probably be a sex slave (aka prostitute) if she wasn't a pawn in the corporate music industry |
|
| Metallica – Fuel for Fire (Fuel demo) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this is the original lyrics for fuel. well, that settles the sonmg meaning...its about the adrenalin you get when you drive fast | |
| Metallica – Damage, Inc. Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
seek and destroy says: 'we're coming to kill you' damage inc says: 'we're gonna rip the shit out of you' |
|
| Metallica – Sweet Amber Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
@ cowchpotato: metallica's managers forced the promos on them. and to metallica, recording radio cash contest promos is their idea of selling out. therefore they fucked around over the recordings, which is what you see in SKOM. |
|
| Metallica – We Did It Again (feat. Ja Rule and Swizz Beatz) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
@ squatto24: i have seen the recording session from SKOM as well. i'll make it a bit clearer on why i dont think its a metallica song 1. the tune is a bunch of metallica riffs from the presidio sessions cut and and mixed into a mainstream rap beat. 2. it was bob rock's idea, not metallica's. ulrich and hammett weren't in the studio when the idea came up 3. hetfield was in rehab at the time. given that he hates rap, he would have killed the idea before it got off the ground. so...if hetfield had not shut off almost all contact with the band during recovery, this would never have happened PS: i agree with you that the song is one of the worst i've heard |
|
| 50 Cent – Candy Shop Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| people call this git a musician? since when was talking with a slur to a computer generated beat telling women they're only good for sex considered to be music?! he cant even play a fucking instrument let alone sing in tune! | |
| Metallica – We Did It Again (feat. Ja Rule and Swizz Beatz) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i still think this isnt a metallica song | |
| 50 Cent – God Gave Me Style Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| talk about self centred | |
| Hilary Duff – Haters Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
PS: How to respond to your critics "We can do whatever the fuck we want, really. We've got carte blanche. I mean, when we did 'Fade to Black', that was our first ballad and it really blew a few minds out there. People wrote us off then; 'Fuck them! It's over. It's no longer speed metal.' Okay, fine. You can feel that way. But fuck you, too." James Hetfield |
|
| Hilary Duff – Haters Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Metallica made a song that fits Hilary Duff et al perfectly in 1991 on the black album: HOLIER THAN THOU No more The crap rolls out your mouth again Haven't changed, your brain is still gelatin Little whispers circle around your head Why don't you worry about yourself instead? Who are you? Where ya been? Where ya from? Gossip burning on the tip of your tongue You lie so much you believe yourself Judge not lest ye be judged yourself Holier than thou You are Holier than thou You are You know not Before you judge me, take a look at you Can't you find something better to do? Point the finger, slow to understand Arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand It's not who you are, it's who you know Others' lives are the basis of your own Burn your bridges and build them back with wealth Judge not lest ye be judged yourself Holier than thou You are Holier than thou You are You know not |
|
| Metallica – The Ecstasy of Gold Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| perfectly described Silence101 | |
| 50 Cent – In Da Club Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i'll add to your comment tsct1990, classic albums sell a sizeable amount at the time of their release, then keep selling a constant rate for years after (Metallica's self-titled 'black album' sells about a million copies a year nearly 15 years after release), while the albums put out by 50 cent et al rack up more than a million sales in the first month, then sell shit-all subsequently. PS: by your figures, Eagles greatest hits has sold more than 3 times as many copies as curtis jackson's entire collection |
|
| Metallica – Nothing Else Matters Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this isnt a metal song. but its still good! | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Dani California Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| who cares? The song's good and the video is amusing | |
| Metallica – Kenny Goes To Hell Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
from South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut Kenny, who suffers fatal burns (and surgery), as a result of lighting his own fart, drifts slowly up to heaven. topless godesses await him to press the button to access paradise. However, he's denied access and is semt to hell, where he is tortured by minions, and sees other leaders who have been condemed (hitler, Ghandi). He then sees Satan and his partner-in-evil saddam hussein...now go watch the movie! |
|
| System of a Down – B.Y.O.B. Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Why don't presidents fight the war? They would never send their own children to war and they're only powerful when they have a a tag on their names eg. President, Prime Minister, King, Governer etc Why do they always send the poor? The poor are the most easily manipulated part of society. They're told 'go topple this evil man, you'll be a hero' and they believe it. |
|
| Metallica – St. Anger Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| its true burtonite. ulrich said they will make the next album by their old ways (start with demo tapes from everyone, which will be refined into songs) in an interview for kerrang magazine. | |
| Metallica – ...And Justice for All Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Here's a slight change to the Pledge of Allegiance. I know i'll want to put something in later on, but play around with it and come up with your own ideas. I pledge gullibility to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the big corporations for which it stands: ruler of the world under the veil of christianity, very divisible, With Liberty and Justice for all with money. PS: US double standards September 2001: One business complex in NYC is destroyed, a small section of the pentagon is wrecked, 3000 people killed. The perpetrators are deemed heartless criminals, terrorists, islamic extremists etc... August 1945: The Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are flattened by atomic bombs, hundreds of thousands of people killed, many suffered serious health problems long after the bombings, the land where the cities once stood is inhabitable for a decade or more because of radioactive waste. The perpetrators are labelled heroes, given medals, full military honour at their funerals etc... The worst case of double standards on the planet!! |

| Metallica – Wherever I May Roam Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
My opinion of all Metallica albums released so far: Kill Em All:A Aside from the childish lyrics on Metal Militia, the experimenting on this album showed that they would go places. A bass solo on a 1st album is rare. Highlights: The Four Horsemen, Whiplash, No Remorse, Seek and Destroy Ride The Lightning: A+ The band was accused of selling out because this album was not Kill Em All Mk2. WHO CARES! Great album. all songs have a feel that fits them Highlights: For Whom The Bell Tolls, Fade To Black, Creeping Death, The Call Of Ktulu Master Of Puppets:A+ Metallica's best album. Unfortunately their last with Cliff Burton. Although he died 20 years ago, his music will always be remembered Highlights: Battery, Master Of Puppets, Sanitarium, Orion ...And Justice For All:A Their only political album so far. Has a few faults-some of the songs are a bit too long, the drums make a 'click' rather than a 'thud', and the bass is barely audible. But this is nitpicking really. Its a very good album Highlights:Blackened, Eye Of The Beholder, One, The Shortest Straw Metallica:A+ People will debate about my rating, but there's more to this album than Enter Sandman. This song (the one i'm commenting on) is the best on the album. There's a mix of fast songs and some deep ballads, but unfortunately, some people only think Enter Sandman when this album is mentioned Highlights: Holier Than Thou, Wherever I May Roam, Nothing Else Matters, Of Wolf and Man, The God That Failed Load: A New sound, new image. The sellout accusations come thick and fast (seen somewhere before?). But the accusers could never see past the ends of their noses. Sure it's not as good as any of their previous albums, but its still good! Highlights: King Nothing, Wasting My Hate, Mama Said, The Thorn Within Reload: B More of a hard rock album. Also the first lyrically focused. Highlights: Fuel, Devil's Dance, Where The Wild Things Are, Attitude S & M: A+ Although a couple of songs did not fit in (Sandman, Fuel) when played with an orchestra, the idea was a big success. The orchestra added more feeling to the ballad type songs, and made the heavier songs even more awesome. Highlights: The Thing That Should Not Be, Nothing Else Matters, Wherever I May Roam, One, Battery St. Anger: B Their most aggressive album since Justice. They wanted a raw sound, which they've achieved. Not a bad album, but it has several faults-the song are too long, Ulrich's snareless snare drum makes the album sound a bit too raw, and the songs lack of solos leave it feeling not 100% complete. Highlights: Frantic, Dirty Window, Shoot Me Again The next album is showing plenty of promise-new producer, a return to solos, and a mix of the old recording way (start with demo tapes from all) and the new (everyone has a say in what becomes the final song). Lets see what that brings... |
|
| Britney Spears – I'm a Slave for You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| it seems that the 12 year old sluts that followed britney back in 1999, are now making worse shit than what she made. anyone who thinks there are too many sluts in society, here's your scapegoat | |
| Metallica – Battery Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
OK THEN!! you think anyone needs to know that? anyways, now that's out... this song , and ' fight fire with fire' are the 2 heaviest opening songs on a metallica album so far, hit the lights, fuel and frantic follow. the other 4 are softer by comparison. Battery was also the perfect closer to the S & M concert. that rendition is an awesome adrenalin rush |
|
| 50 Cent – Candy Shop Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
well...50 seems to have lost his 'fans'. all the 12 year old sluts and big egoed pricks are now chasing after whoever is the new 'moneymaker' for the big record companies. PS: what do you guys mean when you call someone a chav? |
|
| Metallica – St. Anger Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Agreenmachine and others who hate the way metallica have gone under bob rock will be happy to hear that he won't produce their next album. that album will be produced by Rick Rubin...who has produced albums from slayer, soad, slipknot, RHCP...sounds like another change in their style | |
| Frenzal Rhomb – I know why dinosaurs became extinct Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this could be the shortest song on record. take out the piano intro...its only 4 seconds. Its pretty obvious but...DONT PLAY THIS SONG TO 5 YEAR OLDS! | |
| Metallica – Leper Messiah Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
to friskitty: the iraq war is not part of the list because religion was not used to 'justify' the war. bush gained support for the war by inciting a fear of saddam hussein in the american people. here's evidence: after 9/11 3% of americans believed saddam was linked to the hijackers. by the end of 2002, following the case made by bush for the war, more than 50% believed that saddam was personally responsible. i read this from the book 'imperial ambitions', a series of interviews with noam chomsky, a guy who says that all US presidents, including george washington, can be charged with war crimes |
|
| Chingy – Holidae Inn (Feat. Snoop Dogg & Ludacris) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| who gave this asshole a record deal?! | |
| Eminem – Lose Yourself Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This is easily eminem's best song. nice tune, good lyrics and a different video to boot. if only this kind of rap music had more promenence as opposed to those 'bling' bastards. for more good rap, look for Scribe | |
| Metallica – My World Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
the song is about not letting manipulative assholes try and force you in a direction you don't want to go. in other words: FUCK OFF! YOU'RE NOT IN CHARGE OF MY LIFE! PS: Metal_Up_Ya_Ass_Jay seems like those 'fans' who wanted Metallica to release Kill em All 8 times. him and the others who think that can get screwed |
|
| Frenzal Rhomb – Russell Crowe's Band Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| russell crowe asked why his band doesn't have a record deal today. frenzal rhomb answered that question 5 years ago. nice one frenzal!! | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Rolling Sly Stone Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Next chillis album...bring it on. by this sample, its gonna be great. also...chocolate, im not sure that RHCP would intentionally copy a set of notes shown earlier by that asshole Nelly | |
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – Suck My Kiss Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| the song is about sex. look no deeper | |
| System of a Down – A.D.D. Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
The corruption in the US government is not just with the current lot. its been around since world war 2. Think the cold war, vietnam, the 1991 gulf war, plus clinton's attack on iraq in the mod 90s. DrFeelGood3 needs to read the lyrics again. SOAD does not hate the US, it hates the corruption that exists in the 'coalition of the willing' governments. PS. We need more real music like this, not the stupid manufactured, meaningless shit that is the mainstream. |
|
| Metallica – Shoot Me Again Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This song is based Ulrich's varied feelings during the case against napster. In the movie 'some kind of monster' he says that sometimes he feels all mighty one moment, and then wonders why he's doing it the next, as shown in the line 'All the shots I take, What difference did I make?' great line. And lazyasdrmr, no Metallica song ahould be dedicated to 50 cent. why would the best-selling heavy rock band dedicate a song to a rank asshole who's taken up making 'music' because he's tired of dealing drugs |
|
| Red Hot Chili Peppers – The Zephyr Song Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This could be a love song. And to me its a great love song. Original idea, individual lyrics, nice tune. Frankly, if RHCP can make music this good, who cares about their drug problems! | |
| 50 Cent – P.I.M.P. Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| 50 cent certainly is god. he's god of all self-centred assholes. he's a big talking prick of the highest order. nuff said | |
| 50 Cent – Candy Shop Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| your joking kasey rothkopf. 50 is a self-centred asshole who thinks he is the be-all and end-all of music. at least the 24 people above you have some sense | |
| Metallica – Sweet Amber Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| New development. Metallica will re-introduce solos on their next album due out in the 2nd half of 2006. Here's a possible name for it: Return/Revenge of the Solo | |
| Metallica – Mama Said Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| this song is about Hetfield's regret that he did not make the most of the time his mother was around, as shown by the line 'I took your love for granted, All the things you said to me'. I rate this 4th amongst Metallica's ballads behind Nothing Else Matters (3), Sanitarium (2) and Fade to Black (1). | |
| Metallica – The Ecstasy of Gold Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| right. its the piece played at the beginning of every metallica concert as each of the band members come onstage. a nice little piece and very fitting in the last bit of the 'some kind of monster' movie | |
| Metallica – Leper Messiah Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| i agree with you friskitty. you are right about the fact that these 'holy wars' were fought for greed for money and power, but religion has been used as the 'motivator' for all the wars i mentioned. thats why i mentioned them. | |
| Metallica – We Did It Again (feat. Ja Rule and Swizz Beatz) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I'm with THOR9595, and I'll also add this. The background track is not a Metallica riff, its a couple of riffs edited to make the track...which sounds shit. Also, Hetfield was in rehab when this came up. Given his disliking for rap 'music', he would have killed this before it even got off the ground. | |
| Metallica – Whiplash Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
your an idiot testahead. if metallica had no fighting spirit, then there would not be a song such as this or any metallica albums following master of puppets. their fighting spirit was most prominent in their decision to continue after Cliff's death. i also agree with everlonelyty. St Anger may not measure up to their old music, but it a lot better than most other albums released in 2003 |
