| as a kid listening to this i never understood the song nor the title. unfortunatly, through life experiences, "freeway time" means to the inmates the when in the dorm your not stuck on your bunk. the rows we called the freeway. the small space between the triple stacked bunk beds we called the driveway. ironically, la county jail can be seen from the freeway as the large concrete building with no windows. | |
