I love this song. But I think it's definitely Bella's thoughts towards Jacob... "Don't know what I want, but I know it's not you" ... don't think there was a point in any of the books that Bella doubted how much she wanted Edward. Or vice versa, for Edward's feelings for Bella. Anyway, can't wait til the movie comes out so I can see where all the songs fit in. So excitttted |

I don't understand two things.... 1) why people are really analyzing this song line by line. I'm pretty sure it's clear what this song is about... lol. and 2) why are people, who don't even like carrie underwood, are on here talking crap? Seriously... get a life! lol if you don't like her... don't be looking up her lyrics and commenting. Why don't you either comment on lyrics you DO like .... or get a hobby. |

I agree with you kcwheezy on this one. to me, this song is about a guy who really is in love with a girl. but he won't admit it... he's in denial, saying it's a silly phrase he's going through, and he's also brushing her off like 'oh yea just cause i call you don't think youve got it made, don't think i really like you' etc etc. and he keeps saying "it's because...." and stops there because either he really can't explain the way he feels or it's like he's just about to explain why he really does love her but he just can't bring himself to do it or admit it. i first heard this song on the virgin suicide soundtrack and have loved it eversince. |
