Dennis Wrote this. He was going through tough times, and this might be a bit personal. He certainly sounds like he meant it. It's sad and haunting, and at the end seems hopefully but also deranged. He goes into a mock-opera voice and wails, then screams madly "AAAAH YEAH!" Such a great song. RIP Denny. |

Right you are mmkg 28. Joey Ramone is mocking the punk scene. Road To Ruin was the angry Ramones album , and on this song they mock their very credentials. Sweet chord progression, same as "Dog Eat Dog" by AC/DC, only much much faster, how the four leather clad bruddas like it. |

For such bleak lyrics and a menacing feel, Agent Orange were a fun band. Just another song influenced by the troubled underground scene. Things weren't really as dark as they sound, it just sounded good. Mike Palm's solo is like...neato. |
