| Henry Rollins – I Know You Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I like how it was put to Nine Inch Nails' "A Warm Place." It's so fitting and relaxing. The story telling of someone we've watched ourselves. Someone we wanted to be there for. Maybe someone we've ridiculed behind their backs. Maybe, just maybe, the narrator is describing what we are; what everyone feels at one point in their lives. But that's just me. |

"What's wrong? Pain has gone away Can't she stay away? Every single TIME, SHE'S fucking with my mind Build up all this rage I'M TRAPPED INSIDE SOME CAGE While she sits and smiles" Who know's why this song was recorded? Just an early unreleased demo more or less around the Self Titled era; something that didn't make the tracklist? |

| Limp Bizkit – Hold On (feat. Scott Weiland) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| So, did Scott Weiland do most of the writing and vocalizing for this song? Because Weiland's voice is more evident throughout the song (Durst has the second verse and the lower harmony of the chorus.) | |

| Pearl Jam – 4/20/02 Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Such a clich'e and undignifying way for such a beautiful songwriting vocalist. He should've gotten help and input from Layne and the guys instead of pushing everyone away. That's where it's hard to bare sympathy for him. But as far as vocalists ripping off Layne's voice for profit, I know exactly where Vedder's going with this. I mean we all think this. Godsmack is a main target in particular. They stole their name from an Alice In Chains song, for Christ's sake; even an akward dumbed-down version of Layne's sun logo. These guys are very talented and it shows in their music, but they cannot even try to find their own sound. It's always Metallica-Pantera-Alice In Chains Lite; rather than finding their own sound. It can be said for the vocalists in recent bands, like Seether and Puddle Of Mudd for completely ripping off Kurt Cobain, which now is worth next to nothing. You guys know where I'm getting at. | |
| KoЯn – You Mean I'm Not? Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| If you have any p2p programs, download it. There's two live versions. A loud and hardly audible one and one that was performed live before Sean Olson; and yes, it is a Black Sheep cover. Little kids these days, I swear.... | |
| Faith No More – The Last To Know Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I can't believe know one commented on this beautiful song. Patton is an inspirational and oddly sporadical writer and performer. His lyrics can mean something or they can mean nothing (assuming this song was written by Patton and not one of the other members). From what I've gathered from all the times I've listened to this song, it sounds like it could be somebody in shock of hearing unexpected and unfathomable news and the beauty and sorrow of his/her denial, and turns out he/she were the last to find out about this new. And considering the tone of the song, I always imagined someone enjoying their beautiful sunny day and coming home and discovering sad and empty faces that completely obliterate the zest for life that person had. Well, that's my goddamn theory. |

I never could get into this song mainly because of the chorus. Jon's ranting sounds like an angry 10 yr. old mad becase his parents grounded him. But to each his own. Isn't this on the Twisted Transistor single? - Anywho, if I had anything to back up the meaning of this song, I'd use it. But, I'll quickly evaluate what's been read. - The original set of lyrics mainly sounds like regret, jealousy, and betrayal caused by a certain someone to a certain someone and the pain continues to haunt them but they bottle it up inside and not talk to anyone about it. - The revised set by Bananaphone05 sounds like it revolves around the same subject matter but seems as though suicide is a main factor and the certain someone is contemplating and quite on the brink of ending their life. That's pretty much all I compute. There are so many better KoRn songs out there, though. |

| Alice in Chains – Blue Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I remember hearing this old piece of music, and thinking to myself if it was even really Alice. It really is, back in that "Chained To The Studio" era. | |
| Alice in Chains – Get Born Again Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I remember that by that point and time, he wasn't even in the videos anymore. In "Get Born Again", they used Layne footage from the "Sea Of Sorrow" video, and in that Class Of '99 video for the "Another Brick In The Wall" cover, they used Layne footage from his live performance in Mad Season. | |
| Alice in Chains – Real Thing Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| He just randomly screams it at the end... I like this song and it's early demo "Heroin." | |
| Alice in Chains – Fairytale Love Story Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I thought this song was wicked cool for their early glam days. Isn't this on that Herion bootleg? | |
| Wesley Willis – Alice In Chains Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Well, like a good portion of Wesley's songs, it's one of his trademark up-tempo synthesised beats and his lovely way of spewing words out, later ending the song with that sponsor thing he does. It's good for a giggle, and it shows A.I.C. some gratitude. -R.I.P. Wesley- -R.I.P. Layne- | |
| Alice in Chains – Killing Yourself Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song was on my "We DieYoung" single. I really liked this song; very vintage. You can tell they are still in their glammy phase. | |
| Stone Temple Pilots – Wet My Bed Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| A fuck-off song, maybe? | |
