To me, this song represents anyone who has tried to reach for something perfect and been constantly turned away...there's something inherently human and yet beautiful about that. Everyone seems to like that whistle :) i enjoy the playfullness of it ;) tho personally i really like the piano bass line (or scale or arpeggio) that comes in towards the end...i feel it parallels the song really well. Quarter of a century down, I dont know whether it's bad or good that this stuff still gets to me too much. it took me a while to get over this one and i've got things to do. Thanks. peace. |
