| W.A.S.P. – Chainsaw Charlie (Murders in the New Morgue) Lyrics
| 18 years ago

One of the most epic songs off of The Crimson Idol. The song is an ensuing conversation between Jonathon, a young runaway looking to make a name for himself in the music world, and Chainsaw Charlie, a bastard of a record producer who aims to sell Jonathon for all he's worth. In the conversation, Charlie outlines his plans for Jonathon, along with how his system works. Jonathon goes on to ask "Will this be worth it? Will I hate myself for what I'll become? Or will it be everything I dreamed of?"
Fucking epic song off an amazing concept album. |

Just to get the ball rolling on this one, I think the song is about...er...a Pagan losing his virginity to an oak tree? Haha, seriously. Either to an oak tree, or to a forest spirit. Not sure which. |

| Neil Young – Heart Of Gold Lyrics

Alright, this may be just a huge coincidence, but, this song might have something to do with my hometown, Timmins, Ontario. I mean, Neil Young was Canadian, and Timmins' slogan is "The City With A Heart Of Gold", because one of the major industries in Timmins is mining, in gold mines and other mineral mines as well. The line "I've been a miner for a heart of gold" backs up my theory further, although it could just be a metaphor.
I'm not sure. Although I have yet to find any indication that Neil has ever been to or was even aware of Timmins, it's still something to think about. |

Yeah. I'm pretty sure it's by Gnar Kill. I checked the CKY discography and I can't find this song in it. Also, CKY has guitar, bass, a singer, and drums in it. Gnar Kill only has drums, a singer, and a keyboard in it. This song has no guitar or bass in it. The music part is done with drums and a keyboard. So I'm positive this song is by Gnar Kill. |

| Helloween – Dr. Stein Lyrics

This song is about a Mad Doctor, who I'm pretty sure is either Dr Frankenstein, or a doctor based on him (Dr Stein could be short for Dr Frankenstein). Dr Stein makes monsters in his Lab, and lets them go out and terrorize the world. His first monster (which I'm presuming is Frankenstein's Monster, from the book written by Mary Shelly) was hunted down by the village and trapped, and then was killed. So Dr Stein started making better ones, and more than one at a time. |

This song is amazing. The video is great, but it is weird too. I don't understand it because it doesn't have much to do with the song. Instead of the guy climbing a mountain to get a rose for the girl, he goes and murders someone for her. But then she set him up and gets him burned at stake.
I also read on herzeleid.com that this song is based on a story by The Brothers Grimm.
I can't wait to get this CD |

Yeah. Ricki gets sentenced to life in prison. If you watch the music video, you will see. He gets drunk and shoots his friend.
This song is one of the most amazing songs stuck in my head lately, and it's more than just another metal ballad, it's a song about one of the most relatable scenarios of anyone's adolscent years. We all know someone who is like this, or at least, fits the description. Not exactly the complete description, but fits it to a point. This is a great example to show you that your whole life is ahead of you, so don't fuck it up over one bad mistake. Keep your nose clean to a point, and don't fuck around too much. When you are older, you will thank yourself. |

| Manowar – Warriors Of The World United Lyrics

Heheh. ShadowClutch. You are silly. WHY would they be singing about how they are the only band that is "True Metal"? After all, it's called Warriors Of The WORLD United, NOT Warriors Of THIS BAND United. Damn, even the first LINE contradicts what you say. "Here our SOLDIERS stand, from ALL AROUND THE WORLD", which I assume means, people from all around the world, NOT the band members. And if it was about how they are better than the rest of the metal bands, why the hell would they say "There they wait in fear, with swords in feeble hands"? Last time I checked, the majority of metal bands dont run around with swords starting wars.
I could go on, but I will cut to the point. This song isn't a metaphorical penis enlargement to Manowar, it's a HOMAGE to the true soldiers in the Medievil Times who fought for all that is true and righteous. |
