This is both light hearted and meaningful the meaning is subtle but the meaning is there. Light hearted it wasn’t funny, because I didn’t lol I think eminem sings about his life and if part of it offended some fans of another dude so what it’s his life not yours. And if u say eminem just disses people what was triumph doing? (and don’t say but triumph was funnier). I think over all eminem is a lyrical genius but this one is not up to his standard but iam sorry he is better then triumph.. This song was eminem making half an effort. And I think in no way does this portrait him as a womaniser he is not a pervert he is just highlighting the culture of our eager society with kids wanting to grow up earlier short skirts and so on, using stars as an example to emphasize on the women or girl question a lot of men are asking. Eminem is rich for a reason he has strong views on a lot of things. That is not dissing that is having a different perspective on life and he shows his views through rap would u prefer him to use his musical talent in mindless pop? Hmmmmmm I don’t normally do this I was just shocked how u pick apart some ones song and views like that, like my mummy says if you don’t have nothing nice to say then…….. Granted this was not one of his best songs and the meaning was quite loose But still he is a lyrical genius and he is a prodigy of rap to come less focused on money and fame and more on his feelings and views. What I rely don’t like is how he uses the song to complement other artists to fit better in with his music style when he is better then them. “She's shaking that ass to that new nelly jam“he should not try to be something he’s not. By including nellys name he is saying he thinks that nelly is talented this is a way of bumming another artist come on eminem get back to your normal standard. |
