A week ago I had a permanent falling out with my best friend of seven years.. She was lying to me about so many things. Even though it was not malicious, it was still dishonest and extreme. I couldn't deal with it anymore, and confronted her. Our friendship ended. I just found out, indirectly of course, that this song describes how she feels about the whole thing. |

The thing I like about LP's music is it can mean so many different things, depending on who you are. I have had many problems with obsessive compulsive disorder, thought control being one of them. On top of the bad thoughts that my mind is occasionally flooded with, my subconscious is always reminding me of my mistakes, telling me that I’m a horrible person, etc. And no matter how much I scream at my mind to shut up, it never does. This song does a pretty good job at detailing what that can be like. |
