I think it is a combo of what has been mentioned here already I think it is about addiction but not his addiction. he's watching someone close to him fight with an addiction and he's trying to help him through it but the person wants nothing of his help. "This time you've tried All that you can turning you red" - he's tried all he can and now he's done trying to help. It's not about the middle east, when he talks about a "living wasteland" he's refering to the person with the addiction being worthless. |

First off tru2dagame: What "tru" meaning, there is no deep meaning to this song. they are talking about diamonds and shit on dentures that they slap on their teeth. no hidden message, no deep context just dentures. Third of all: I don't hate rap so don't go their. This song has a sweet beat and paul wall is fucking sweet. but i'll be honest this song is pretty gay. Man one of their best songs on the cd. I've listened to this over and over and it keeps getting better and better. "So I follow weathers together and my best brother, with things just getting good"... Bad ass part of the song I have no clue what this song is about... Maybe the song is a look into his the future: "when what I came to say is said... When what I came to do is done" and the fanfare around him is dying: "the sun sets on my summer carreer": and all he's doing is living for the day and going with the flow: "tomorrow we all get started but for tonight I'm turning in... So I follow weather". I don't know I'm probably really wrong about the meaning of this song but it's still a kick ass song! |
