Its Jimmy (The Rev) singing. If you've heard his and Syn's old sideproject, Pinkly Smooth, you'll easily be able to recognise his amazing voice. All of these interpretations are pretty spot on in my eyes, though I agree with Scootman1990's lyric alterations. I reallly cant wait for the new album now! |

I agree, most of Pinly Smooth's lyrics appear to be quite incorherent and random, but i get the feeling this song has something to do with drugs, more specifically, an overdose. *Fill you up with enemies*: He's given his friend the drugs, the enemies who will harm the body. *I think he really wants to die. I don’t really want to die I think he really swallowed* : The friend is hooked on the drugs and is likely to soon overdose, and has no concern about whats happening to his health, and then *I think he really swallowed* could refer to he's swallowed a mass amount of the drug, most likely acid or pills, and he's unsure whether or not he''ll survive it. I think that the rest of of song is to do with how your mind and body feel whilst under the influence of drugs. The *noises* Jimmy makes while singing could be something he or anyone does whilst high or tripping, and the suicidal and dark thoughts running through his mind whilst under the influence. But hey, its just a guess. |

This could mean: 1) He's referring to people as machines, obselete, pointless and unaware of things around them, self concentrated. 2) Is he talking about his "Robots-in-Disguise" girlfriend, Sue Denim.... 'Are we pretending, I like pretending' maybe referring the "disguise" |

She lets go lowgrade We can stay closed 'til 4am the next day" Just from the first few lines, its pretty obvious the girl he is tlaking about is a prostitute: "moves the street way" shes walking the streets at night, looking and waiting for a potential customer... See? Its rather simple when you think about it. The whole "bredding babies in my nightmares" is because he's scared he could get her pregnent, imagine having your child to a prostitute, definately a nightmare. "I get a peepshow free" suggests maybe he is friends or even lovers with this girl... "take the pressure pill, make me throw up" this girl is leading him down a self-destructive path, and he feels that is is going through a "breakdown". There, doesnt that all make perfect sense? :D |

I know this is a bit different from the rest- but it just seems to be about a girl. She has low-selfesteem, and feels that she has to prove herself. "Well, she’s not bleeding on the ballroom floor Just for the attention." Teenage firls are subjected to images of perfect, skinny women- as a result of this, she may have extremely low self esteem, and as a result may have become suicidal- "Fashion magazines line the walls The walls line the bullet holes" She is getting told how to live her life, even to the smallest details. "Have some composure And where is your posture? Oh no no! You're pulling the trigger Pulling the trigger all wrong"- She can't dance without being told how to, and even when she is trying to kill herself- she is told how to do it better, as though she has competitive parents, or just a lot of pressure, pushing her too far. The rest of the song pretty much sums it up- "Well she didn’t choose this role But she’ll play it and make it sincere So you cry, you cry (Baby give me a break!) But they believe it from the tears And the teeth right down to the blood At her feet" |

woo! first post... well infa-red is a lform of colour that is past our vision of sight on the spectrum. So basically its something that is there, but cant be fully seen.
