its 'Gay Is Not A Synonym For Shitty' You Can't Spell Star Without A&R became This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race and about the song i think its pretty much him really missing someone (probably jeanae) and reflecting on thier past relationship. also i think the lyrics are a bit off on the part about the shoes. |

i think the canary coal mine is a different reference. coal miners always used to take canaries with them into the mines so they would know when the air got too dangerous to breathe (like too much carbon monoxide or something) so anyways the canary would drop dead and the miner would know it was time to leave... i dont really know what this has to do with the song... perhaps he feels he'll be lethal to her? |
