so good so ill and so deep, its one of those songs that you hear on the cd once or twice and like the beat and the flow but have no idea how much meaning it has until you look up the lyrics. the song i think talks about the irony of how the government got black neighborhoods hooked on and undermined by crack (or so he says) and now some years later blacks are rapping and writin about it and selling it right back as music. from it hip hop has emerged and is arguably the most popular genre and ironically whites are the biggest consumers. |

first off this song is fucking amazing, you can listen to it over and over again and interpret it differently each time and still love it but i think there something we're all missing in the song's meaning:: the title stadium arcadium means a lot on its own, STADIUM i think refers to a stage whether it be a concert stage or just like an elevated imaginary stage above the everday world where things can be seen from a greater perspective and with brighter light and then, ARACADIUM definately refers to the word "arcadia" a word that means an idyllic place offering rural simplicity and contentment, this connects with what adam07 said up there that the RHCP singer Keitas said he "pictures 4 guys camping out in the wilderness playing music and connecting to the universe." so all in all, i think is a really reflective song talking about their experiences as a band and giving their all for their fans and living seemingly crazy lives while still seeing things in simple selfless terms -fucking beautiful (lemme know what you think) |

| in love with r. kelly and i think this song is so underplayed. friend suggested it to me last week and im obsessed. i think the whole song is basically about unbeliaveble sex and being in love. one thing i dont really understand, which must be important is the title of the song "half on a baby." does it mean that theyre having sex but using condoms so thats like halfway to having a baby, but i think theres a better defenition. im going crazy trying to figure it out. amazing song though. chorus is soo good. | |
