He met a young lady, and during that time, he made her forget about past relationships, and past troubles. and since they were together they have been trying to find a way to resurect that pure and unadulterated feeling they had when they first met, as problems tend to plague relationships, and they begin to grow stale.
its a very well written song using the basics of most him songs...they paradox things quite often...in this case...love and loss...they lost love, found new love, and lost again...beautiful pardox of the two as usual. |

spot on shaddix...its not about ville contemplating suicide, its a song about how he is coping with the grief. at a wake for a funeral, you are in a dim lit room with the exception of the coffin. you walk up to the coffin to say your goodbyes, and when you step out of the light, you are back in the dim room. thats where the analogy he comes up with is from. other than that, its a song about how he still mourns while he is living. |

this is my personal favorite on the cd....its a song about a new love, and how the memories of the past are erased by a new love, and how the lonliness is evaded by a new love. and it goes even deeper to say how true love passes through life into death. most HIM love songs deal with this aspect of love, and the depth of it....IE: "Join me" |

this is a song about a young girl who is cast from society, and her ability to cope with it. she wants to feel love from something IE: parents rejecting her for who she is, or society for that matter
she recedes into a "dark light" for it tells her to remain who she is, and washes away her fears of a world so cold to her. and to be strong, for it will make her a better person |
