Coldplay amazes me with their musical compositions. Sometimes, it gives me mental visions. For Shiver, the guitar riff reminds me of this ball tied to a string that is being tugged at =P |

I agree with see_prune, the song is about figuring things out. X and Y, as you may know, are the most oftenly used variables in algebra. In the song, it seems he is trying to figure out his feelings for someone. The chorus I think is meant to demonstrate his feelings. The song's something like... I can't love you, we're not meant for each other blah blah... (verses), then he goes, BUT, then the chorus comes in. |

The 'oh baby I...' part sounds a bit like The Hardest Part's 'oh and I...' in the chorus =P Great love song. |
