Clarity reminds me of a lot of u2 albums, the sum is greater than all the parts. What I mean is if you listen to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb (by U2), it's amazing...but take a single song you don't get the same feeling. This whole album compliments itself very well and it is extremley original. Great work JEW |

u2 dosent have a failure album, all of their albums are just experiments for the band. this album, pop, did amazing eveywhere other than america. bono said that while this was being recorded their life was one big party and they wanted to try and get that on a record but it ended up sounding like the morning after the party. i like this cd though, probally my 5th favorite and zooropa only has 2 or 3 bad tunes but all in all great albums |

bono did not get into drug trouble during the popmart tour, thats bullshit sorry but it is he was just smoking a lot of cigarettes so his voice wasnt that great, as he explained in the rolling stone interview. bad is about addictions, and at the time heroin was what bono was writing about, but it could be about any addictions, as bono says live 'i have ordinary addictions" |

davidjoseph is right, in no way is this about suicide. you could tell early this band. how many 18 year olds can write a lyric like "i fought fate, there's blood at the garden gate the man said childhood, it's in your childhood. one day i'll die the choice will not be mine, will it be too late, you cant fight FATE" you messed up there. amazing song about birth and death and just life is out of control |
