| Pixies – River Euphrates Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| the pixies are certainly not 'easy listening' but who cant resist... they really grow on you.... you dont have to be pavarotti to sing along. | |
| Powderfinger – Odyssey #5 Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
love this song.... when i play it i just want it to go on forever. great song to put on repeat. ahhaa. powderfinger simply seems to be saying this world has been so used to throwing lies at each other that telling the truth is a revolutionary, defying act.... that we are born and die without bringing anything with us.... that we are destined to die the moment we're born.... you get what you give and the ways of this world is plotted by the vicious dominance of consumerism...... if i'm wrong, then i am completely dumbstruck by this song |

this song resonates with some emptiness like How to Dissapear.. but its sweeter... like getting rid of baggage; "empty all your pockets/ it's time to go home" yet another brilliant song... the version from green plastic has got some pretty hyeana sounding fans in the audience though. makes me wonder --- what would i throw at radiohead in one of their gigs? |

| Radiohead – No Surprises Lyrics | 20 years ago |

one word--- or four syllables--- nothing but this song defines the word beee-yooooo-ti-foool.... its uncanny how so many rh songs can link with orwell's 1984.... if you haven't read it, you're a coconut and i disagree on the suicidal theme really... well.. not really. you may have such thoughts but sometimes you're afraid and so you continue existing. |

| Radiohead – How to Disappear Completely Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
certainly crying material ... for me at least.... anyone heard of "the unbearable lightness of being" ?... about how humans can reach the state of complete disconnection but it brings no peace, this unnattachment. "this isn't happening" really is just a plea of the moment, in the end we aaalll have to face the responsibility... but it brings releif to dream that you're not here |

| Radiohead – Say the Word (C-Minor Song) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| when i heard this first i thought thom had lost it and gone into some banjo/rajistani phase!!!!..... definitely worthy of second listens.... beautiful music..... | |
| Radiohead – Million Dollar Question Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| its nice to hear some older rh stuff... the gitaur riff sounds annoyingly blink 182 or something... but its good, radiohead hadn't found the voice its belting out now..... and gosh i hate the people pretending to be thom yorke.. its freaking annoying | |
| Radiohead – Karma Police Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
first time i heard this song, i hit play again for six times in a row.... i'll leave it at that... i can wake up an age later and have that tune in my head --- that freaky deaky instrumental (dude, jonny is genius) and spacing out, i'll find peace in maths class |

| Radiohead – Good Morning Mr. Magpie (Morning M'lord) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
yay!!!! new radiohead material .. this song has this eerie loveliness to it like fake plastic trees... ha. i stole this off the net-- live version.. rh is great live. . . kinda sad how a lot of their concert place thingies sound so empty.. on a live version of knives out, thom is like (at the end) "an applause would be good??" hahaha ... so sad.... |

| Radiohead – Kid A Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| i think we shouldn't bring all the music we love under the microscope to see what it means allll the time. sure you can be curious... but some songs are just what they are... this song is amazing .. ignorance is sometimes really blissful. | |
| Radiohead – Backdrifts (Honeymoon Is Over) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|

|
| Radiohead – 2 + 2 = 5 (The Lukewarm) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
o.O,,,,,,,, anywaaay.... thom has used the term "orwelled" describing the state of the earth when u.s. invaded iraq...... gosh if u.s. hasn't done nothing, no one has!!!! 2+2=5 certainly links to 1984..... freaky book man, but i love it thom was actually good at gymastics when he was a laddie... velly strange |

| The Goo Goo Dolls – Better Days Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
some very valid interpretations.... i never thought the song could be pointing towards Judaism.... kid you know who to make a person feel intellecutually inferior but seriously the goos make songs that are special to everyone... no opinion is wrong unless you are a homocidal freak who wants to kill johnny!!!!! no No NO!...... dayum he's fine.... *collapes on floor next to leon* |

| The Goo Goo Dolls – Better Days Lyrics | 20 years ago |

c'mon man, can't you see the message in this? Call it cheesy but i dont think so... its not just all about "finding better days" and wanting the more meaningful things in life. surely it concerns christmas --- hence the line "you asked me what i want this year"... and call me a jesus freak but this song, seems uncannily involved in the birth of christ---- "tonight's the night the world begins again" christ came to free mankind and save him from his sins hence the "'Cause everyone is forgiven now" and Christ did come to forgive... and he was born on earth on christmas as a child, hence the "the one poor child who saved this world" it never really occured to me that johnny could be religious but hey, who knows... and dont diss 'give a little bit' man! i love it..... the ggd have simply escalated from where they came from... and they continue to just that. |
