this song to me is about obssesive compulsive disorder. maybe i'm wrong, but i think a lot of spineshank's songs are about mental distress, e.g. synthetic, new disease, violent mood swings. |

i think this song is about schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. the word synthetic is possibly referring to the idea that the singer is constantly hearing voices in his head, and he learns to live with that after a while, and when johny santos sings "i will never follow you" he's telling the voices to leave him alone. I'm not completely sure as to what this song means, but this is just my observation. |
