I LOVE THIS SONG!!! Okay, so it's not the greatest piece of musical genius the world has ever seen, it hasn't got some deep meaning...but this really is my favourite song ever. I saw Feeder at the NEC in March of this year, and I was so excited when they played Insomnia, I think I screamed half my chest across the hall! It really was awesome *sigh* :P |

Those lyrics should read: 'locked me in the heart of misery' This song is pretty simple to me - unrequited love. Or possibly one that was lost. And they don't want to/can't go on without them, and just want to give up. Either way, kickass song :) |

I adore this song...it's beautiful. It reminds me so much of the way I feel about a certain someone in my life. To me, it's like the person wants someone so badly, or that they want them back; they're just so desperate but it can't happen. It's difficult to explain just how I see this song, but I think it's one of the best that HIM have done so far. "I am the nightmare waking you up, from the dream of a dream of love.." My favourite line :) It's just so pretty... |
