This song is so funny. It's obviously about how annoying it is to have all these little things go wrong. Some of the lyrics are so clever like "broke the yolk no joke", and "tried to find my sock" is my favorite opening lyric ever. This song just constantly amuses me, but it does get pretty repetitive after a a while. |

I love the Buzzcocks' lyrics. They always make me smile. I think "when you kiss me does the lipstick on your lip stick on my face" is the best lyric ever. |

At first I also thought this was a song about a girl, until I actually listened to the lyrics. When I heard "Canada" and "Singapore" I finally figured out it was about England. I love this song, the guitar is awesome. |

It's funny that now this song has a literal meaning with plastic surgery being so popular. People are actually plastic.
Kinks songs are so timeless because, even though they were written in the '60s, I find myself thinking about the same things now. |

I totally identified with this song last year right after the election. I felt like the world was going to end because Bush was back in office, so the lyric, "I don't feel safe in this world no more, I don't wanna die in a nuclear war" really spoke to me.
I think the song is about being fed up with our wasteful lifestyles and just wanting to get away. |
