this was the first song i heard by mewithoutyou and i was immediately drawn in by aarons broken, half-screaming, half-pleading vocals. then i read the lyrics and he's quickly become 1ne of my favorite writers of all time. favorite lyric: "and you'd better be alone..." it still gives me chills |

best song ever!!!! this song was put together sooo beautifully. it's so absolutely innocent and pure. from the lyrics describing how he'll be everything she could ever possibly need, to the child-like, mario brothers-esque beat. this song represents love in the most untarnished and pure form of the emotion. you know that feeling you get when you find out your crush has a crush on you too? thats it...that's the moment this song embodies. favorite lyric: "i'll be the waterwings that save you if you start drowning in an open tab when your judgements on the brink" i just love the word play:) |

ha...yeah. booo the OC. there's not much i can say about this that hasn't already been said. so i'll leave it at, "wow...*sniffle*" favorite lyric: "if you feel discouraged when there's a lack of color here please don't worry lover it's really bursting at the seams absorbing everything the spectrums a to z" it's so uplifting...i sing it too myself when i get too down. |

this was the first song i ever heard by bright eyes...and the first song to ever make me cry uncontrolably(and still does). before i heard it, i hadn't allowed myself to cry since i was a baby...man it felt good:) favorite lyric: "i hope that wombs not too warm cause it's cold out here and it'll be quite a shock to breathe this air to discover loss" ...so powerful |

i heard this song and fell in love...even though i couldn't understand 90% of the lyrics. then i read the lyrics and cried. i never thought a band comprised of so much screaming would do that to me...there's just something in the delivery and FOR SURE in the lyrics...i don't know. this band is incredible and i wish i could find the album. favorite lyric: "everything was falling into place" |
