i think its about....two people who fall in love but are seperated by distance or a while and know they will be together soon (i find a map and draw a straight line). Shes on her own, going out and trying to get on with life but it all seems pointless and fake (there is no peace that i find so far..ghosts with just voices). All the time she is remembering him (your words in my memory is like music to me). Shes imagining how it will be when they are reunited (we'd share each other like and island until exhausted rest our eyelids). How it will be perfect and the same as when they got together (pick up from the last place we left of....a joy you cant keep in). But at the end shes still wishing forf it (i pray that something picks me up and lays me down in your warm arms). To me its that she was waiting so much for things to be the way they were and when they got back together they wernt, but shes still holding on to the thought that things could be the same.... |

| This songs about meeting someone when your travelling (adam met a aussie giril called anna when travelling in greece) and denying how you feel about each other because you know you only have weeks together and at the end of the time together you each need to go back to your own lives on the other side of the world and can never be together. They try to deny how they feel but this hurts them both and then its too late and they have to say goodbye. At the start its "im not ready for this kind of thing" they both say they cant fall in love and its totally the wrong circumstances theyre not ready for it, then at the end he says "and oh lord im not ready for this kind of thing" hes not ready to say good bye and lose her forever.
