this song is really really sad - i heard from a very reliable source (personally - ididnt just read it or anything) that this song is a story told from the point of view of one of pete's friends , who's wife/gf went through breast cancer and she died. if you understand what i just said its easy to put the lyrics into place. Many stand for you They will stand today ^ that part gives me imagery of a funeral - where anyone who touched your life will stand for you one last time. But thats just my interpretation of that part. its kinda talking about the ups and downs of the time together and how the guy wouldnt ever change what has happened ; And all I ever wanted to be Will remain right here with you, and me, And the times we've had, and the times we're yet to see SOrry its long , i hope you get what im on about.. |
