| Fear Before – On The Bright Side, She Could Choke Lyrics | 19 years ago |

For the longest time I was under the misconception that this was an Icarus Line song, its very similar to Feed A Cat To Your Cobra... March of flames is a lot like Icarus, both are kickass bands. The song is pretty self explanatory, its about deep seated animosity for someone you once loved |

| Its not any "Creepy little girl" on this track, its Rob Zombie's wife, Sheri Moon Zombie. | |

I know its not the real meaning of the song, but to me this song makes me think of a soldier as he lays looking up at the sky, dying of his wounds, all the while he thinks back on his girl at home, and of the last time he lay next to her. "If I lay here, if I just lay here Would you lie with me, and just forget the world." He wishes she could just lay down next to him and the whole situation would go away, the world would disappear and they'd be exactly where they need to be "all that I am, all that I ever was Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see. I don't know where, confused about how as well just know that these things will never change for us at all." This makes me think of how even though he is dying and is millions of miles from her, her perfect eyes are the only things he sees. It may not be the meaning of the song but its the meaning to me, but it would have made a powerful video too. |

Awesome song that was featured during the battle between Frank West and the escaped convicts in the Xbox360 game Dead Rising. This song just kicks so much ass and really slams every musician or actor that has "Gone guru." Take that Tom Cruise! |

| Travis – The Beautiful Occupation Lyrics | 20 years ago |

THIS SONG IS NOT ABOUT IRAQ! This song is about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide and war in general. Read this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rwandan_genocide The lyrics should now make perfect sense. Travis are a very active band in the same sense as Coldplay. Coldplay are active supporters of Make Trade Fair, likewise Travis support the Save the Children fund. Fran recently visited the Sudan with the support of Save the Children. FYI: The 2003 Iraq war campaign of "Shock and Awe" did not yeild half a million civilian casualties, it arguably yeilded no civilian casualites. The United States armed forces had said that targets, munitions and attack times were chosen to minimize civilian casualties. |
