Erm, Albion isn't England, it's Great Britain. The term was used long before England had ever even been conceived of.

I'd presume it was about falling in and out of addiction and the reliance on another person (need we name her...) to go beyond it.

I'd like it to be a bit more subtle, but it's a good tune with excellent vocals - what more could you really ask for?

Yes, it's well known to be about heroin. It's quite a good song, but of course not by Babyshambles, Doherty or any associated acts.
