Actually, I think it's about a breakup of some sort. "When I thought we were alive" "I don't wanna be the one who chokes" "I don't want you to leave me here alone, all right" -it makes much more sense than a funeral. |

Emopunkgod, this song is pretty ambiguous and could be about God or a girl...I think the latter is more applicable on account of the bridge: Don't walk away, This is not the time, I thought that I'd let you know I'm here and I'm with you, Don't walk away, This is not the time, I thought that I'd let you know I'm here and I'm with you, (I'm feeling this moment, so perfect, I can't wait to tell you, just how I feel tonight) I'm feeling this moment, so perfect, I can't wait to tell you, just how I feel tonight. According to the Christian worldview, God is always here whether we want to see it or not. Therefore for him to say "don't walk away" would be frivolous. In addition, God always knows how we feel and if you've heard the song then you've heard how much emphasis is put on "to tell you just how i feel." Then again, it could be about God. |

wow why hasn't anybody commented on this song?? its definitely one of the best on the cd. i saw them play this accoustic at a concert on friday night it was awesome. i love the part "i'm feeling this moment, so perfect..." and how the guy's voice get's all hoarse. anyways the meaning is kindof obvious: a guy has been masking himself to the one he loves and he's showing her now who he really is and asking her what she thinks. |

| i can't believe no one has commented on this song! its one of the best on their album...i'm pretty sure it just is talking about people who are rich and apathetic that just wither away in their miserly distastes. | |

| I totally agree with SteppingOnShadows. I think the music video clearly portrays the idea of the government conspiracy and a lost society. Men traveling to another planet is a symbol of starting over in a new untouched environment, running away from a corrupt modernized world. | |

This song (and its music video) reminds me ALOT of The Gorillaz "Feel Good Inc." The whole concept of a traditional down to earth "modest house in a modest town" is very similar to the traditional down to earth idea of a "windmill windmill for the land." That said, the line "we must push on, we must push on--though we bleed" haunts me like a ghost. |

| i 100% disagree with atomsplitter and nopoetic. i thought the old dredg albums were ok, but this latest one, "Catch without arms," is amazing. i think it is much more refined, beautiful, and thoughful. The song "catch without arms" goes through my head over and over and the piano solo in "bug eyes" is one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard. | |
