A theme that runs through some of Muse's work and that I see alot in OOS is a fear of technology. I see this as intelligent technology envying humans and wanting to attain the peace and joy in thier minds. |

Those lyrics are a bit off. Anyway, I think this is something like a child growing away from thier parents. The sphere of the influence of the parent shrinks from no longer controlling the child, there's nothing left to die for, etc... |

Since I view Paranoid as a concept album, this is a bit different from other views. War Pigs sets the scene of war and corruption, Paranoid is a descent into madness of a soldier, and I think this is a sort of cosmic journey after death. |
