I have heard the same thing except not a fantasy, but a real experience with someone. And yes, one only needs to read the lyrics to see the obvious. What a great song. A very poetic way to speak erotic. If it is about someone in perticular, that is a very lucky someone to have had such a great song written about them. |

When I first heard the song, I thought it was about a girl (named Ariane) and I really liked it as that but when I found out what it was really about, it about broke my heart. It is one of my all time favorite songs ever written. I now have a 3 year old son of my own and think of his mortality everytime I hear this song. I wonder if I could ever come out of it if anything were to ever happen to him. I think it helps me to be a more cautious parent, keep my eyes on my kid that much better. He is the true love of my life and my heart goes out to Robert Plant, Eric Clapton and any other parent who has lost a child. |
