Listening to this, it sounds to me like a Jon Lee tribute again. "Morning life" itself implies mourning to me, while "A new day has begun" is life without his best friend. "But you feel, nothing is real You're flesh and bone, but nothing is real Today, this could be the only day Can't let this mooment get away Cause this could be the only way So call on me, call on me" This sounds to me like Grant's ideas as to what Jon must have been thinking, whearas "call on me" screams... I'm here for you. "Fading out" and "this could be the only way" also say suicide to me. |
