I truly don't understand how the Beatles write so many fantastic songs, let alone love songs. This song reminds me of being younger....though I am only 19 now. It's just another example of how great the Beatles and older music in general is , even though much of it is very simple musically and lyrically. |

Anyone notice the words, "I don't know I was really drunk at the time" in the background of the very beginning of this song? Turn it up and give it a shot. Sound familiar? It's the exact same sound clip heard at the end of Money from Dark Side of the Moon. |

I feel that this song couldn't more perfectly describe my relationship with my ex girlfriend. If you want to know our relationship...listen to this song. What is truly unbelievable is that...for no reason at all, other than pure coincidence, I heard it for the first time in years right around the time I met her! The whole time I thought about this song and how it fits the situation perfectly. We are now THANKFULLY done! |

I thing that Jimmy page may have written this song thinking random thoughts, such as when Mor3BL7 said that the line refers to womens' menstruation, however he didnt realize that subconsiously his words were put together in a way that meant so much more. Just a thought...I could be wrong. |
